What is it? And why do you need one?
The Director of Coaching of a Club takes on a variety of roles that are often overlooked when it comes to running your club effectively.
• Manage and potentially select a high level coaching staff which represents your club both on and off the field.
• Manage the coaching staff to deliver a high value customer experience.
• Liaise with the board members to ensure a collaborative relationship
• Develop programs including coach mentoring, skills clinics and camps.
• Manage the registration process and work with local league in ensuring your club remains in good standing.
• Promote and manage a tryout process.
• Positively promote the club
• Deliver coaching education classes to staff
• Provide a high level of customer service to both the players and families in your club
• Attend all national training events, expos and webinars (when required).
• Manage compliance of coaches to make sure each coach has the correct certifications and background checks.
